Chelsea is ready to finalise terms with AC Milan's 27-year-old defender.

According to the latest rumours, Chelsea are planning a deal for AC Milan centre-back Alessio Romagnoli.
The Blues are expected to lose a lot of players this summer, therefore the Londoners are looking to strengthen their defense.

Antonio Rudiger will join Real Madrid on a free transfer, while Andreas Christensen will join Barcelona.

Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta could also join Blaugrana, with their deals set to expire.

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, the club are chasing a free transfer of their own.

Rossoneri captain Alessio Romagnoli is up for grabs in the summer, with his San Siro deal running down.

The capital team, on the other hand, will have to battle for the player's signature. Sevilla is eager to make a move for the Italian.

Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, two German clubs, are also rumored to be interested. Alessio has had a difficult season due to injuries, starting only 16 games in Serie A.

Romagnoli has been kept on the bench in recent weeks despite being fit again, ironically by former Blues ace Fikayo Tomori.

Chelsea are also interested in Jules Kounde of Los Nervionenses this summer. Last year, they attempted to sign him, but the Spanish outfit dug their heels in.
